From land acquisition to handover, a proven process guides every estate we build.

We coordinate every trade on site to save you time and money.

  1. 1

    Land & due diligence

Every Oakacers estate begins with the land. We source well-located plots, verify every title and complete soil and environmental surveys before a single naira of your investment is committed to a site.

  2. 2

    Design & approvals

Our in-house studio designs homes for the way Nigerians actually live — generous spaces, natural light, cross-ventilation — while we secure every permit and approval on your behalf.

  3. 3

    Construction & quality

Our own engineers and builders deliver every structure to one exacting standard. Independent inspections at each milestone mean defects are caught early on site, never discovered after you move in.

  4. 4

    Handover & aftercare

We hand over complete, documented homes — titles, warranties and manuals included — and our estate management team stays on to keep every community at its best.

Sustainability: practices rooted in environmental efficiency.

  1. Energy Efficiency

Rising energy costs make efficiency essential in Nigerian homes. We reduce dependence on generators through a wide range of techniques, including passive shading, high-performance insulating materials and solar-ready roofing, cutting running costs while improving comfort and durability in every Oakacers home.

  2. Water Management

Reliable water is a cornerstone of estate living. Every Oakacers estate pairs boreholes, storage and treatment systems with proper drainage to reduce the impact of  heavy rains on homes and roads, including the use of retention channels, permeable landscaping and water recovery or treatment systems.

  3. Land Footprint

Land use is inextricably linked to the ecological footprint. By planning compact, well-ordered estates, we preserve mature trees and natural drainage in the places where we build. Optimising land use is one way of contributing to balanced, sustainable urban growth.

  4. Climate-Responsive Design

Designing homes to suit the West African climate is an integral part of our practice. By orienting each home against the path of the sun and the prevailing breezes, and shading glass with deep balconies and screens, we reduce energy consumption and increase occupant comfort.

  5. Green & Shared Spaces

Estates should breathe. We set aside land for gardens, courtyards, play areas and tree-lined streets - greenery, noble materials, natural ventilation and so on - to promote the well-being and mental health of residents.

  6. Materials

Building homes that endure the Nigerian climate and stay healthy for their occupants requires a judicious choice of materials. We specify durable, locally sourced blocks, hardwoods and finishes that reduce the carbon footprint of construction, extend the lifespan of each home and minimize waste production.

  7. Certifications

Our team is able to support and coordinate the efforts of clients and partners wishing to obtain green-building certifications such as EDGE and LEED, which attest to compliance with the most relevant sustainability criteria.

Let's explore the possibilities together.
