  • Site Engineer

    Abuja, Nigeria | Full-time | On-site work model

    The Role

    Reporting to the Project Manager or to a construction lead, you will actively take part in the setting-out, supervision and delivery of residential estate projects of varying complexity. You will safeguard the quality of workmanship while collaborating with internal teams, consultants, subcontractors and artisans.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Set out buildings and infrastructure and translate construction drawings into work on site.
    • Supervise structural works, block work, finishes and external works to specification.
    • Participate in the inspection and approval of materials delivered to site.
    • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
    • Contribute to meeting programme milestones and quality standards.
    • Participate in site meetings and maintain proactive communication with the project team.
    • Keep daily site records, progress reports and as-built mark-ups, as needed.
    • Support the preparation of client and handover inspections.

    Desired Profile

    • B.Eng or HND in civil engineering, building technology or a related field.
    • Approximately 3 to 6 years of experience on residential or commercial construction sites.
    • Good proficiency in AutoCAD and setting-out instruments.
    • Knowledge of reinforced concrete and finishing works. COREN registration is an asset.
    • Good knowledge of materials, construction methods and applicable Nigerian building codes.
    • Ability to manage several work fronts simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Project Architect / Intermediate Architect

    The Role

    Reporting to the Design Director or to a team lead, you will actively take part in the design, technical coordination and delivery of residential and commercial projects of varying complexity. You will contribute to the quality of deliverables while collaborating with internal teams, consultants, contractors and clients.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Develop and translate design concepts into working drawings and approval documents.
    • Produce and coordinate plans, details, elevations and finish schedules.
    • Participate in the selection of materials, finishes and fittings.
    • Coordinate with structural, M&E and other consultants and stakeholders.
    • Contribute to meeting deadlines and quality standards.
    • Participate in project meetings and maintain proactive communication with the team.
    • Conduct site visits and follow up on the conformity of the work, as needed.
    • Support the preparation of client and planning-approval presentations.

    Desired Profile

    • B.Sc or M.Sc in architecture, or an HND in architectural technology with relevant experience.
    • Approximately 5 to 8 years of experience in a design firm or property development company.
    • Excellent proficiency in Revit.
    • Knowledge of SketchUp and Enscape. Knowledge of Lumion is an asset.
    • Good knowledge of materials, construction methods and Nigerian planning regulations.
    • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Quantity Surveyor

    Lagos, Nigeria | Full-time | Hybrid


    The Role


    Reporting to a Project Director, you will play a key role in the cost planning, procurement, and commercial management of medium to high complexity residential and commercial projects. You will ensure cost accuracy, budget adherence, and smooth collaboration among all stakeholders.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Prepare bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents that comply with current standards and internal guidelines.
    • Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and other stakeholders.
    • Manage and track procurement, material pricing, and subcontractor accounts in collaboration with the Project Director.
    • Identify cost risks, anticipate variations, and propose appropriate solutions.
    • Contribute to meeting budgets, schedules, and quality requirements.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior quantity surveyors.


    Profile

    • B.Sc or HND in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
    • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience with a developer or construction firm.
    • Expert proficiency in Excel and cost-management software; AutoCAD is an asset.
    • Strong knowledge of Nigerian market rates, building codes, and construction practices.
    • Ability to manage projects of medium to high complexity.
    • Self-directed, detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
    • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

As part of our growth, we are looking for a Senior Site Engineer to join our team in Lagos and play a key role in delivering large-scale projects.


    The Role


    Reporting to a Construction Manager or Project Director, you will be responsible for advanced site coordination and the quality of workmanship on complex estate projects. You will act as a technical reference within the team, contribute to buildable solutions, and support the professional development of site engineers.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, sequence, and coordinate work fronts with high technical complexity.
    • Supervise, inspect, and approve structural and finishing works on site.
    • Evaluate and approve construction methods during design and construction phases.
    • Anticipate and manage site challenges and propose effective solutions.
    • Introduce innovative approaches and solutions to improve build quality, sustainability, and efficiency.

  • Sales & Marketing - Team Lead

    Lagos, Nigeria | Full-time | Hybrid Work Mode

    As part of our continued growth in Lagos, we are seeking a Sales & Marketing Team Lead to join our leadership team, drive off-plan and completed-home sales, and support the development of our sales executives.

    The Role


    Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing, the Sales & Marketing Team Lead is responsible for leading, coordinating, and overseeing sales and marketing activities across estates of varying scale. This role ensures commercial excellence, adherence to sales targets, and compliance with Oakacers standards, while fostering collaboration and professional development within the team.


    You will serve as a key point of contact for home buyers and investors, in collaboration with the Head of Sales, and actively mentor junior sales executives.



    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, develop, and coordinate sales campaigns and estate launches in collaboration with Project Managers.
    • Act as the primary client contact, jointly with the Head of Sales & Marketing.
    • Supervise the production of listings, brochures, digital campaigns, and presentations prepared by junior and intermediate executives.
    • Plan and manage weekly targets and site inspections for one or more members of the sales team.
    • Ensure effective coordination with agents, banks, and legal teams on closings.
    • Ensure all deliverables meet Oakacers’ internal standards and quality requirements.
    • Identify market risks and buyer objections and propose timely, effective solutions.
    • Support the Head of Sales in evaluating estate pricing and profitability.
    • Provide coaching, guidance, and professional development support to executives.
    • Conduct estate tours and contribute to handover administration with the Project Coordinator's support.


    Profile Sought

    • B.Sc in Marketing, Estate Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in real estate sales, including campaign management and team supervision.
    • Advanced proficiency in CRM tools and digital marketing platforms; knowledge of property listing portals is considered an asset.
    • Strong experience in off-plan sales and closings.
    • In-depth knowledge of the Lagos and Abuja property markets and applicable regulations.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage complex campaigns and anticipate market risks.
